Of all the joke characters that were heavily rallied by Board 8, Nidoran F was the one that made it. I don't know how much of this had to do with Ceej manually not caring about some results (there's no WAY Solano didn't have enough noms), but it's a known fact that Nidoran also had the full backing of LUE and LL. Her reward was to be 8 seed fodder.

We've had what, eight contests? And 8 times, we've seen Nintendo take the \#1 overall seed. 8 times, we've seen Nintendo make a killing in that first match. This one was a mite different depending on your perspective. Either Samus was supposed to SFF Nidoran F into oblivion en route to like a 95-5 beating, or you remembered that Samus always stinks up the joint against Nintendo. And in this case, that paired with the joke entrant factor kept Samus under 80% for quite awhile. She eventually would "only" win with 81.85% of the vote, and leave it to Board 8 to start writing a character's epitaph after ONLY scoring 81.85% in a match. Nothing here proved anything about Samus; NF just had the joke factor going for her, plus Pokemon has legitimate strength anyway. NOMINATE MEWTWO PLZ KTHX.
