This was a day match, which should have helped San Andreas have a great performance. However, its performance was merely average. On a normal day, this might not have meant much with Golden Sun looming in one of the few good round 2 matches we had. But with Golden Sun DS released on the day of the match, San Andreas couldn't afford to look merely on par with Golden Sun. It had to look better, by a lot, and it failed to do that here.

As a random factoid, Allen mentioned in board8chat pre-contest that he was very surprised Dead Space got in. It didn't do all that bad, and you'd have to wonder how something like Dead Space vs Ratchet & Clank: Random Subtitle would go.
