I know round 1 was all box arts, but that is one hell of a great match picture. MGS3's box art especially is awesome.

Much like the match preceding this, the writing was on the wall for the game that won even with a blowout win. MGS3 won, but this was hardly a 1 seed performance deserving of much respect. TimeSplitters just scraped by in its vote-in, then goes out and prevents MGS3 from getting a 1 seed killing.

I know hindsight is 20-20 and etc etc etc, but this match was a major sign of things to come for the Metal Gear Solid series and a really bad start to the "MGS division". It's rare a game almost scores 77% and looks like crap, but MGS3 looked like crap. No two ways about it.
