## Ulti's Analysis

- **Division:** West
- **Match \#:** 52
- **Match Date:** Sunday, November 14, 2010
- **Vote difference:** 8,763
- **Oracle Expectations:** World of Warcraft - 57.41% 98 for - 5 against
- **GameFAQs Prediction:** World of Warcraft - 92.21%
- **Battle Contest Predictions:** Banked: 237 World of Warcraft: 22245 Animal Crossing: 1189

Fun Fact: Animal Crossing received the least number of nominations among the games getting into the bracket without going through vote-ins.

So of course it gets to go up against World of Warcraft in the first round and just thoroughly embarrass it. Don't let the 58-42 percentages fool you here, either. World of Warcraft got 1 seed respect from bracketmakers, but went out and performed like this was a 6/11 match. Failing to break even 60% on Animal Crossing, the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to Nintendo, might be a lower point for WoW than the match it actually lost.

I know GameFAQs despises World of Warcraft, but seeing just how deep that hate ran this contest was really something else. Can you imagine what Majora's Mask or a Smash would have done to Animal Crossing in WoW's place? I know we throw around the idea of anti-votes a lot, but for WoW it actually mattered a lot this contest.

The true irony here is World of Warcraft should have gotten "Game of the Decade" respect, and probably would have on any other site.

## Trivia

- This match is the only 1v1 match in contest history where a character or game with a 90+ prediction percentage failed to break 60%. Only two others even failed to double their opponents.
