When the best part of a match is the picture, the match probably sucked. This was no exception, as it was one of the round 2 matches that existed solely for a big game to blow the doors off of a game fresh off of pulling a round 1 upset. Though in Fire Emblem's case, the gurus simply got it wrong while the casuals correctly predicted it. When it went up against a game that wasn’t bound to finish dead last in the LOL x-stats, it performed as expected from the beginning.

Though with that said, Pokémon didn't exactly go out here and set the world on fire. For those banking on an HGSS boost to get GSC into the finals, this match was bad news. Or for guys like Allen who picked DPP to beat Brawl, it was really bad news.
