This is seriously the dumbest pick I've ever made, even worse than taking WWF No Mercy to beat my favorite Fire Emblem as an ode to the guru. Pre-contest it seemed like a good idea I guess because we didn't fully know the impact of rivalries on certain pairings, good and bad. This match displayed both in pretty hilarious fashion.

1 on 1, Luigi smokes either trainer. But in a rivalry contest paired with arguably the most hated Nintendo character there is? Look out. I hesitate to even call this SFF, because Waluigi is hated that much, but it is kind of hard to imagine the FF4 pair doing this bad here. I guess we'll never know!

This is the second contest in a row where a lot of people got it all wrong involving Pokemon and a 1 seed, and I feel like Majora's Mask \> GSC plus Luigi's strength really skewed my view here. At least I wasn't alone in picking this dumbass upset special, I guess?

KP likes to say I never own up to dumb picks, and that's why he currently has a bruise the shape of my boot on his ass !!
