## Ulti's Analysis

Of all the divisional finals, this was by far the simplest and had nothing unexpected happen at all. L-Block tried making a push early, but wasn't even able to hold second place over Tifa for long before getting completely swamped. It gave the board 24 hours to breathe and relax, and this was the one match among that stretch of 8 I talked about that didn't have a Pokemon in it. So if you're one of those people that hates Pokemon, this was the match for you.

Overall, it was clear in minutes that Samus was taking care of business, that L-Block would not recapture the past glory, and that Tifa was not going to give us a repeat of her near-upset of Samus from the female half of the 2006 contest.

Just a simple beating, nothing more and nothing less. We can't have EVERY match be nuts, right? Moving on.

## Zen's (Late) Analysis

Alright so I logged into my Imgur account for the first time since 2013 to look for the raw versions of the magazine covers from my match pic, and holy shit is it just a treasure trove of weird Board 8 culture and history. This match was really boring anyway, some people thought L-Block could upset Tifa but there was never really a chance for that. For a short time we were just able to breathe... Just breathe.
