## Ulti's Analysis

Remember in round one when 1992 got 73% and we were all excited about how well it did? Well 1998 gave no fucks and went out there to prove it was championship material. 73% is impressive in any match, but go on Ngamer's site or check around the Board 8 wiki and look into Link to the Past's contest history some time. That game has scored some epic blowouts in these contests, and it even broke 40% on Ocarina of Time last contest.

Didn't mean jack this time around. The most impressive match of round 2 by a mile was 1998 in this match, and this proved beyond all shadows of all doubts that 1998 was winning this contest barring a major rally. Given no one cared about this contest, a major rally wasn't coming. The only question is what would face 1998 in the final and whether or not it would avoid getting completely embarrassed. We'll get more into that when the time comes, but I hope in the future when this contest is long forgotten people are able to appreciate how insane this performance was. This wasn't 73% against some jobber; 1992 is the Link to the Past year and it got thoroughly demolished. 1998 was not dicking around in this contest, and it also proved how much depth truly mattered in this thing. I didn't think it would be a major factor and hoo boy I could not have been more wrong.
