## Ulti's Analysis

Rounding out round two in this godforsaken contest was a match that some people were actually worried about. This match was basically Wind Waker and a bunch of trash against Resident Evil 4 and a bunch of midcarders. Even though a match finishing within 60-40 was a rarity in this contest, 2003 would still end up winning with ease in a classic Ulti-style destruction. When in doubt, go with a popular main line Zelda title.

2003's reward was 1998 after the beating it had just laid on Link to the Past's year, so the over-under for 2003 in the upcoming round 3 match was 27.15%. When one can say such things about a round 3 match, you have a terrible contest. We actually would end up having a few decent matches from here on out, but virtually all of them gave us the added benefit of built-in picture dickery, which we'll get to.

To recap, to this point of an entire contest, the only highlights were 1998's blowouts (which weren't all that impressive given blowouts of the past) and a match between 2000 and 1996 where Pokemon not making the match picture perhaps decided the entire matchup.

We care about games. Not years. I hope anyone wasting their time and reading this on the wiki in the future understands I am not alone in my somber mood here. The entire site hated this contest.
