That isn't Kane the wrestler, or even Kane from Command and Conquer. Well it's supposedly Kane from Command and Conquer, but thanks to what may very well be the worst match pic of all time, we were treated to Kane the TV set. Any and all doubts about Bomberman winning this match were quickly put to rest after seeing the match pic, because no matter how popular C&C might be, Bomberman was going up against a TV.

Kane helped prove that no matter how popular your game is, name recognition alone may not be enough to propel you to victory in a contest match. Command and Conquer would likely beat any Bomberman title, but obviously, this doesn't translate to the characters themselves having success. Allowing Bomberman, who isn't that strong to begin with, to get nearly 80% on you proves that you more or less suck. This match makes me very skeptical about how well a Starcraft character would truly do in one of these polls.

Starcraft the game would eventually become a contest legend, but the characters themselves? I wasn't exactly proven wrong there, given how Kerrigan would very famously drop the ball when her turn came up to be in a poll.
