Elo ratings for every entrant, computed from all official contest matches, starting at 1500 with the chess-standard K-factor of 32. Ratings live in separate pools by type and are not comparable across pools. In the binary variant a match is scored 1/0 win-loss, so the rating tracks the probability of getting more votes; in the vote-share variant it is scored by each side’s share of the combined vote, so the rating tracks expected vote share.
Vote share (tuned) is the vote-share model with its K-factor (sensitivity to individual results) raised from 32 to 256. A high K-factor makes recent matches count for much more, so the rating follows an entrant’s current form rather than a stable career average.
